Beliefs

God – Our Heavenly Father

There is one God who is the Father of all people. Ephesians 4:6 (CEV)

Jesus — God’s Son

Christ is exactly like God, who can not be seen. He is the first-born Son, superior to all creation. And God was pleased for Him to make peace by sacrificing His blood on the cross, so that all beings in heaven and on earth would be brought back to God. Colossians 1:15,20 (CEV)

Holy Spirit — God living in us

You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9 (NIV)

Bible — God’s word

The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16 (TLB)

Church — God’s family

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 (NIV)
It is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)

Discipleship — Becoming like Jesus

Whoever claims to be a Christian must live as Jesus lived. 1 John 2:6 (CEV)

Heaven — God’s eternal gift to those who choose to become His children

In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:2-3 (NIV)

Hell — Eternal destination for those who choose not to become God’s children

They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power. 2 Thessalonians 1:9-10 (NIV)
